Academics

Sensorial Track

At this stage, we teach basic and concrete activities to students with severe intellectual disabilities through tactile stimulation.

Montessori Track

Here students follow a modified Montessori curriculum. At this level, we implement abstract concepts such as letter and sound recognition. We also encourage students to start developing pre-reading and pre-writing skills. There is a heavy focus on basic life skills at this stage and students only progress to the next track once they successfully complete this one.

Pre-School Track

The students continue pre-reading and begin to write letters on this track. Since our school encourages cognitive and social growth over everything else, all students with an adequate cognitive level can proceed to the next track.

Senior Track

The fourth and highest track teaches reading and writing at each student’s level through repetition and reinforcement, while a general topic is taught or discussed in class every week.

Apart from the regular academic schedule, we carry out the IEP (Individual Education Plan) during class hours, and ADL (Activities of Daily Life), which promotes independence to the best of the students’ abilities.

Once they reach adolescence, we channel all our students into our vocational program, regardless of academic ability.
